Does DropBit support coins other than Bitcoin?
DropBit is focused on Bitcoin. No altcoins, no tokens, no distractions. Additional asset support may come in future releases.
Where are my private keys stored?
Locally on your device, encrypted at rest. DropBit never transmits your keys or seed phrase — not during setup, not during use.
What happens if I lose my device?
Install DropBit on any desktop and use your 12-word BIP-39 seed phrase to restore full access. Keep the phrase written down and stored offline.
Does DropBit connect to the internet?
Only to query public Bitcoin nodes for balance and transaction data, and to check for updates. No analytics, no accounts, no external services.
Is DropBit free?
Yes. DropBit is free to download and use. Network fees go to Bitcoin miners — DropBit takes nothing.
Is there a mobile version?
Not currently. DropBit is built for desktop — the extra screen space is the point. Mobile may come later.
Does DropBit support hardware wallets?
Hardware wallet integration is on the roadmap. DropBit currently manages keys locally on your desktop. Ledger and Trezor support is planned for an upcoming release.
